What can be expected when visiting an ND?
The goal of the naturopathic practitioner is to understand the patient’s health concerns and all the factors impacting on their health. A health questionnaire will be filled out before the first visit to maximize the amount of time we can spend discussing your case.
In addition, the information from an in-depth patient history will be taken. The initial visit usually lasts from 90 minutes to 2 hours; it is at this time that a naturopathic evaluation will be made and a natural therapy or combination of therapies will start taking shape. Follow-up visits are 30-60 minutes and are necessary to assess your response to the therapy and to allow for modifications in the plan.
